Every member of our team here at Indent Dental Laboratory carries our core value of providing the highest quality of service to all those who entrust us with their dental wellbeing. Incases of Aesthetic Restorations, we understand the patient requirements and then develop Smile Design to ensure natural results for patients and also reduce chair time for Dentist. We use CBCT, CAD CAM, 3D Printing, Smile Design to get the correct proportions of face and smile.

Smile Designing

Smile Designing is a dental procedure that corrects and creates natural-looking smiles in an artistic manner, using several manual and digital methods to achieve the same. Regardless of the state of the existing teeth, smile designing can work wonders for you if you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your smile, or if it has been damaged in an accident or due to age. Smile designing plays a pivotal role in providing a satisfactory final aesthetic restoration for the patient.

Wax-up

The first step towards smile designing involves dentists taking an impression of the patient’s teeth and making a set of study models. The changes are first performed on these models in wax, after which the dentist proceeds onto the next step. This process is called a wax-up.

3D Smile Designing

This step involves a digital treatment planning tool that offers a treatment plan which is wholly based on a thorough analysis of the patient’s dental and facial proportions. It gives the dentist a better sense of the relationship between the lips, gums, and teeth, as well as how they work together to create the patient’s smile. This process improves the dentist’s diagnostic vision, and enhances predictability of the patient’s smile.

Provisional Restoration

Provisional restorations are a great way of leaving behind the guesswork and helping the patient see what their new and improved smile would look like. This step is crucial in ensuring that patient confidence is maintained, while also gaining an accurate idea of the aesthetic quality that would be provided by the final restorations.

Final Aesthetic Restoration

The final restorations in aesthetic dentistry are the last step in the process of smile designing. Having evolved as a crucial limb of dentistry over the years, aesthetic restorations are available in ceramic, porcelain and composite forms.

Benefits of Aesthetic Restorations

1.  Gives a boost in confidence.
2.  Fixes issues such as cracks, missing teeth, and other tooth-related ailments.
3.  Makes for better oral hygiene.
4.  Improves mastication and speech.

Surgical Case Planning

Detailed case planning is a key step in achieving a successful treatment strategy that enables our patients to achieve consistent, durable and effective results. Every member of our team here at Indent Dental Laboratory carries our core value of providing the highest quality of service to all those who entrust us with their dental wellbeing. Incases of Cancer Rehabilitations, we understand the possibilities of a surgery, type of cancer and its spread in head and neck region.

Thirty percent of total cancers in India are from the Head and Neck region compared to 5% in the western world. Tobacco, betel nut and ‘paan’ chewing, and smoking and alcohol abuse are the reasons for the increased number of oral cancers in the Indian subcontinent.

Oral Cancer Rehbilitation

Oral Rehabilitation in patients with facial defects requires a multidisciplinary approach involving Head Neck Surgeons, Maxillofacial Surgeons and Reconstructive Surgeons.

Rehabilitation of facial defects is generally required in patients who have undergone tumour ablative surgery for head and neck cancers and in a few trauma patients. A multidisciplinary approach is required in the care of these patients. In most cases of head and neck surgery, planning and preparation for rehabilitation are done before the surgery using a coordinated approach.

Rehabilitation includes:

  1. Restoration of the aesthetics inpatient
  2. Reconstruction of the facial contour
  3. Retaining or restoring lip function
  4. Regain clarity of speech
  5. Restoring stable dentition
  6. Restoring the ability to swallow

Cancer Treatment

Oral Cancer treatment depends mainly on general health, where in the mouth the cancer began, the size of the tumour, and whether cancer has spread. Treatment of oral cancers is ideally a multidisciplinary approach. The curative treatment modalities are surgery and radiation, with chemotherapy added to decrease the possibility of metastasis, to sensitize the malignant cells to radiation, or for those patients who have confirmed distant metastasis of the disease. Some patients have a combination of treatments.

Surgery is the main form of treatment for oral cancer patients and is conducted by Dental Oral Surgeons. Numerous surgical approaches have been developed that permit preservation of organ function and facial appearance to a far greater degree than was possible in the past. Patients are usually worried about changes in facial appearance following cancer surgery.

Digital planning enables the surgeon to utilise a combination of supporting structures during the treatment planning and rehabilitation process. These structures can include teeth, mucosa, and surrounding hard tissue structures. Surgical guides are a great way to reduce errors, avoid peri- and post-operative complications, and increase the efficacy of the rehabilitation process.

Fabrication of Custom Implants

After restoring the jawbone through bone augmentation, dental implants need to be placed to restore the physical appearance and function of the mouth. This can be challenging in oral cancer patients, as the bone into which the dental implants are placed has often undergone radiation. Additionally, implant failure increases when implants are placed in previously treated bone because healing can take much longer. Success rates for dental implants after radiation therapy differ based on where in the body the patient’s cancer was treated. A good dental laboratory takes all factors into account and provides the patients with implants that are best suited to their needs.

Surgical Case Planning

Dental injuries in association with facial fractures are common in maxillofacial emergencies. Detailed case planning is a key step in achieving a successful treatment strategy that enables our patients to achieve consistent, durable and effective results and overcome facial trauma to the maximum extent. Every member of our team here at Indent Dental Laboratory carries our core value of providing the highest quality of service to all those who entrust us with their dental wellbeing. Incases of Facial Trauma Restorations, we understand the patient need and urgency and then work towards minimising the damage to ensure natural results for patients and also reduce chair time for their operating surgeon. We use CBCT, CAD CAM, 3D Printing, Smile Design to get the correct proportions of face and smile.

Facial Aesthetics

Facial aesthetics cosmognathic surgery, also known as orthognathic surgery, is a specialized branch of dentistry that focuses on correcting functional and aesthetic issues related to the jaws and facial structure. This surgical procedure involves repositioning the jawbones to achieve a harmonious balance between the jaws, teeth, and facial features.
The surgery is typically performed by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon in collaboration with an orthodontist. It involves careful planning, which may include the use of advanced imaging technology, such as 3D imaging and computer-guided treatment planning. Facial aesthetics cosmognathic surgery can have a profound impact on both the function and aesthetics of the face. It can improve facial harmony, enhance the bite, resolve speech difficulties, and boost self-confidence. The specific treatment plan and surgical approach are tailored to each patient’s unique needs and goals.

Surgical Guides

Facial Aesthetics Cosmognathic Surgery is a specialized field that combines principles of facial aesthetics and orthognathic (jaw) surgery. It focuses on enhancing overall facial harmony and balance by improving the alignment, size, and proportion of the jaws and facial structures. There are several types of Facial Aesthetics Cosmognathic Surgery procedures that can be performed to achieve optimal facial aesthetics and functional outcomes. Some of the common types include:

Dental CBCT, 3D Model, Guides
.
We use the Dental Cone Beam Tomography [Dental CBCT] to evaluate the position of teeth, bone structures, joints and the airway. This technique helps us in estimating the accurate placement of implants, provides 3D evaluation and aids in complex root canal diagnosis. This computerised scan uses advanced technology to generate three-dimensional images, which we sometimes turn into 3D models to assess our patients better.
.
All our cases are planned digitally, as we’re able to utilise a combination of supporting structures during the treatment planning and design process. These structures can include teeth, mucosa, bone, and possibly existing implant components. Surgical guides are a great way to reduce manual errors, avoid peri- and post-operative complications, and increase the precision with which we place our implants.
.Final Restoration
Final Restoration
Once the dental implants are secured in place, adequate osseointegration has taken place, and the provisional restoration phase indicates maximum patient satisfaction, we proceed with the placement of the final restorations. Our final restorations are either screw-retained or cement-retained, and restore all aesthetics and functions of natural teeth.
